It’s been a while since I last updated my blog. It took so long because I was looking for more hosting space at a competitive cost. My old hosting provider was not competitive. He didn’t adjust to market condition which is - lower price and more hosting space! The thing I hate the most was the continuous spamming of reminders e-mails when I breached the space allocated.

Switching provider is not as simple as I first thought. First, you have to let your current provider know that you’re jumping ship. Make sure he doesn’t up-sell you before unlocking your domain to his competitor. Next, archive your website, e-mails and what have you to your own drive.  

After your new provider has opened up your domain and transferred ownership to his hosting site then you can rework (configure) and re-upload your website. Sounds like lots of fun or a waste of time? I would leave it to you to find out.
